This cause is exceptionally close to my heart. Like many of you, I have witnessed the immense strength it takes to face this diagnosis. And it’s because of their incredible fight, coupled with the progress of medical research, that they are here today, thriving.

But I also carry the memory of others, including a kind neighbor I knew years ago, who sadly didn't make it. That loss underscores the urgency of this month. It is the constant reminder that while progress has been monumental, we have to keep pushing for more funding, more research, and more awareness—because every breakthrough saves lives.
